ICA Cristo Rey Academy

ICA Cristo Rey Academy based in San Francisco empowers girls, often from underserved communities. Nektar is a proud partner in the Work Study Program providing opportunities for students in entry-level positions.
Women in Bio

Nektar provides funding for this consortium of women leaders in biotechnology which offers a career support network, mentorship and training opportunities for women within biotechnology companies.

Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville

Our support helped create the Racial Equity Fund in 2020, of which half supports grantmaking and the other half supports racial equity programs in coming years.

California Life Sciences Racial and Social Justice initiative

This 3-year commitment centers on building and hiring and retaining a pipeline of diverse talent and future leaders from communities under-represented in biotechnology.
SITC-Nektar Equity and Inclusion in Cancer Immunotherapy Fellowship

A one-year research financial grant to an individual from an ethnic minority or underrepresented population who is interested in furthering research and translation of cancer immunotherapy.
